Class Description

Soul Vida™ Yoga is a motivating yoga inspired class incorporating the very best of modern yoga practices with the perfect balance of movement, flow, stretch and breath awareness. This class begins with a gentle detox sequence, and flows into an energising sequence, inviting the body and breath to move as one. Beginner Friendly.

The class finishes with a restorative relaxation to help you unwind, restore and find inner calm.

Mark Simpson

Makita Gabriel is a Wellness Entrepreneur, Body Mind Fitness Expert, Author and Qualified Nurse with over 28 years of experience teaching body mind fitness in a multi-disciplinary environment.

Makita Gabriel is the creator of The Soul Vida™ Fitness Method and the Founder and Director of Soul Vida Fit, a wellness company passionate about making the world a healthy, fit and stress free place.

Makita has a background in the movements arts with certifications in Yoga, Pilates,Barre, Personal Training, and Fitness Leadership.

Makita’s teachings are influenced by a multi-disciplinary body mind approach to exercise and positive psychology to transform the body and mind.

MARK SIMPSON is an inspirational speaker and writer committed to raising personal and collective consciousness. Mark is a yoga and meditation teacher who encourages transformation, healing and awareness. His work invites and supports individual and organizational growth and visionary leadership that is based on compassion, kindness, empowerment and inclusiveness.

Mark is a Cert IV (800hr) qualified yoga teacher completing his training at Byron Yoga Centre.

He has practiced yoga for nearly ten years and has been teaching for two and a half. Mark has completed Reiki Level I & II.

Mark is a regular Soul Vida class attendee, retreat participant and co-facilitator.

He is the author of Light Up the World, a collection of poetry and prose to inspire new ways of being in ourselves and in the world. It is full of wisdom and insight to support our awakening and live more deeply connected and empowered lives.

Mark brings a wealth of experience in teaching and supporting workshops and programs on yoga, personal development, well-being, health coaching and mindfulness. He has also participated in retreats in Yoga, Zen Buddhist practice, Ayurveda and Compassionate and Mindful Leadership.
